If his health allows it, Bogdan Bogdanovic will play for Serbia, the guard revealed to RTS after the game against the Bulls.
The Serbian national team needed the very last game to qualify for the 2023 FIBA World Cup. Now that they're in, one of the biggest Serbian basketball stars has committed to joining the squad in the summer.

Bogdan Bogdanovic scored 26 points in Tuesday night's win against the Chicago Bulls. After the match, the guard talked with Serbian broadcaster RTS about the possibility of playing on the world stage several months later.
"I spoke with coach [Svetislav] Pesic. If my health allows it, my performance [on the national team] is never questioned. We talked about everything. I'm here," he said.
Bogdanovic was unable to participate in last year's EuroBasket 2022 after undergoing knee surgery in June.
"I can't say that I'm satisfied with everything but I'm satisfied that I don't have any more problems like I had last year. I had to drink pills just to be at any kind of level," Bogi admitted. "I'm glad I managed to push through all that."
The last time Bogi played for Serbia was during the 2019 FIBA World Cup where he averaged 22.9 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 4.4 assists for 24.6 PIR.
So far this season, Bogdanovic has been averaging 14.1 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 2.9 assists for the Atlanta Hawks, shooting three-pointers at 40.4%. With With 40 wins and 39 losses, the team is currently 8th in the Eastern Conference with just 3 games left to play.
