As Sarunas Jasikevicius wished a couple of weeks ago, FC Barcelona (22-9) achieved their minimum goal, securing home-court advantage for the EuroLeague playoffs.

Barcelona beat ALBA Berlin 72-56, securing their 22nd win of the season. The Catalans are four wins in front of 5-6th seeded Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul (18-13) and Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv (18-13), meaning neither the Turkish nor Israeli team could catch up with them.

"The home-court advantage is the minimum goal, and I hope that we can get it," Jasikevicius said after the win against Crvena Zvezda. "Teams will come here to play as if a final. Zvezda was playing for its life tonight."

For Jasikevicius, it will be the third year in a row when he leads Barcelona to a Top 4 finish in the regular season. In both the 2020-21 and 2021-22 campaigns, Barcelona finished the regular season in the first place but is yet to win the competition.

Barcelona also battle for a no. 1 finish this season as the Catalans have 22 wins, just like Olympiacos and Real Madrid. However, both of them also have a game in hand.

In their last two regular season games, Barcelona will face EA7 Emporio Armani Milan and Valencia Basket.
