Kevin Durant to make his Phoenix Suns home debut vs. Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday.
Phoenix Suns star forward Kevin Durant is set to return to the lineup this week.
Shams Charania of The Athletic reports that unless Durant suffers a setback, he will be back for Phoenix's home game against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday.
Durant had missed the team's last 10 games with an ankle injury he suffered in pregame warmups before a March 8 home game against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
The Suns (40-35) went 4-6 during Durant's absence and are the No. 4 seed in the Western Conference. They lead the No. 6-seeded Wolves by 1 1/2 games and trail the No. 3-seeded Sacramento Kings by five games.
Durant has played in just three games — all on the road — since coming to the Suns in a blockbuster trade.
Durant, a 13-time All-Star, averaged 26.7 points and 7.3 rebounds per game in his three games with Phoenix.
