Draymond Green told that his choice is purely based on traveling comfort. He said that it's a 45-minute flight to Sacramento compared to other places in the Western Conference where the flights take multiple hours to complete.

With the NBA Playoffs just several regular season games away, the picture of which teams are going to the postseason is starting to shape up. While teams won't reveal their preferred matchups, their players sometimes spill the beans.

In the latest episode of The Draymond Green Show, Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green revealed that the team's preferred matchup would be the Sacramento Kings.

"[It's] not because I think Sacramento is a weak team, it's because the travel is so much easier," Green said.

The player went on to explain his point of view by citing last year's Warriors' way to the NBA title.

"When you think about our road to winning the championship last year, it started with Denver, which is a two-hour flight to the altitude. From there, we went to Memphis, which is a four-and-a-half, five-hour flight. The fact that the Memphis Grizzlies are in the Western Conference... Obviously, they came from Vancouver, and it made a ton of sense in Vancouver. Geographically, Memphis Grizzlies is an Eastern Conference team," Draymond stated his opinion.

"We had a back-to-back in Memphis and Atlanta... It was a 45-minute flight. The only place we can fly and get to in 45 minutes in Western Conference is Sacramento," Green explained. "Back to what I was saying, it was a four-hour flight to Dallas and back in the Conference Finals. Then a dreadful 6-hour-15-minute flight to Boston. The reason why I said Sac is simply because of the travel. That's a lot on your body. If we can bus ride an hour and 15 minutes up the way, that's much better for us."

To finish off the segment, the player once again reiterated that his choice was not based on the perceived level of the opponent and it was purely based on the comfort of getting to Sacramento.

"Sac is playing well, they're a very good team. It's just for the travel. At the end of the day, I don't really care who we play in the playoffs, I think we can win," he concluded.

With 39 wins and 37 losses, the Warriors are currently 6th in the Western Conference. Meanwhile, the Kings are placed third with 45 wins and 30 losses.
