Shaquille O'Neal posted a photo from a hospital Sunday night, sparking talks about his situation.

According to TMZ Sports, the NBA legend underwent hip surgery to fix a nagging injury.

The surgery went well, and the big man is already recovering successfully, TMZ Sports notes.

The date of Shaq's return to the broadcasting booth is not clear yet. His latest 'The Big Podcast' episode on March 9th noted that the show would come back on March 28th.

"To all the people who are worried and concerned. first off, let me say thank you," he later tweeted. "And lastly, no need to worry, just had to get some BBL WORK AKA #hipreplacement. Thanks and love you all. but no need to worry, and yes I’m fine."

According to TMZ Sports, Shaq could return to "NBA on TNT" coverage on April 16th.
