The guard finished the matchup early due to reoccurring pain in his hamstring. After additional tests, no signs of a muscle tear were found, the official "Zalgiris Insider" platform announced.

"The player's status will be monitored after additional procedures or possible practices if the player was to participate in them," the team says.

"Isaiah pulled his leg muscle. After consulting with our doctors, we decided to not let him on the court anymore. In the first half, he was the one that the other teammates were searching for. We lacked his aggressiveness in the second half," head coach Kazys Maksvytis told after the loss.

Before the injury, Taylor had a productive double week in the EuroLeague, scoring 14 points against ALBA Berlin on Tuesday and adding another 15 against  LDLC ASVEL VIleurbanne two days later.

With 15 wins and 13 losses, Zalgirs are currently sharing 6th spot in the EuroLeague standings together with Cazoo Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz, Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv, and Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade.
