With the recent 9-win streak over, the New York Knicks are adding a player to help the team.
According to Shams Charania from The Athletic, the organization is signing former Los Angeles Clippers center Moses Brown to a two-way contract.
Brown previously played in California as a two-way player as well. He was waived in February after he reached the maximum number of 50 games where he was an active member of the roster.
He managed to appear in 34 games, starting in one, and averaged 4.6 points and 4.1 rebounds per contest.
Before this season, Brown previously played for the Portland Trail Blazers, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Dallas Mavericks. He was waived in February of last year to make space for a trade that sent away Kristaps Porzingis to Washington Wizards.
Brown was subsequently signed by the Cleveland Cavaliers and finished the 2021-2022 NBA season there.
With 39 wins and 28 losses, the Knicks are currently 5th in the Eastern Conference.
