Patrick Beverley is a Chicago native and now return to the place where it all began.
Patrick Beverley left the Los Angeles Lakers in a trade earlier this month. After a short stint with the Orlando Magic, the veteran point guard has found his new career stop.
With Lonzo Ball sidelined with a torn meniscus, the Chicago Bulls are signing Beverley to their roster, Adrian Wojnarowski from ESPN reports.
Paired with a second-round pick, the veteran guard was traded from the Lakers to the Magic in exchange for Mo Bamba.
After landing in Orlando, Beverley's contract was bought out by the organization.
Before playing for the Lakers, the veteran player was part of the Houston Rockets, the Los Angeles Lakers, and the Minnesota Timberwolves.
The guard has been averaging 6.4 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 2.6 assists this season. Beverley is a Chicago native and now returns to the place where it all began.
With 26 wins and 33 losses, the Bulls are currently 11th in the Western Conference standings.
