According to the report, Sharpe has dropped out of the Dunk Contest in order to focus on the second half of the Trail Blazers season.
Sims averages 3.8 points and 4.7 rebounds per game in 43 contests this season.
In the upcoming Dunk contest, the 24-year-old forward will join K.J. Martin from the Houston Rockets, Trey Murphy from the New Orleans Pelicans, and Mac McClung from G-League.
