Valencia Basket lost to FC Barcelona in the Spanish Liga Endesa on Sunday after Alex Abrines hit a clutch three-pointer to seal the win for the Catalan club.

Alex Mumbru's team is going to take action regarding what happened during the game.

Valencia is going to file an official protest regarding the refereeing in the match, Mundo Deportivo report citing various sources.

Mumbru was not happy with the work the trio of Antonio Conde, Alfonso Olivares, and Raul Zamorano did during the match. Valencia feel that the calls weren't balanced to not hinder any of the participating team's chances to win the game.

"No, I'm not happy with the refereeing, but we don't have to talk about it," he said after the match. "We have to look at what we can control, our defense, our attack, the moments in which we have to be better when they push. We don't have to think about the rest."

The club has prepared an analysis of the referees' decision and will submit it to the league.
