The most explicit example of that was Scottie Wilbekin's ejection with 3:56 remaining in the second quarter and Fenerbahce trailing 16-45.
Wilbekin received his first technical foul after arguing with the referees with 4:21 left in the second tally when he tripped over Joel Bolomboy's foot. He then wanted an offensive foul and protested against the decision.
25 seconds later, his game was over following a second technical foul after the contact whistled against Michalis Lountzis.
Wilbekin was raging at game officials and refused to leave the court. Eventually, he left the floor in disappointment.
Fenerbahce's star guard exited the game scoreless (0/5 3PT) and with -6 PIR in 11 playing minutes.
The Turkish powerhouse ended up losing 73-93. The Round 13 meeting between the teams was an absolute blow-out as well, as Olympiacos triumphed 94-67 behind 21 points from Sasha Vezenkov.
