In less than a month, all European basketball fans' eyes will be set on local cup tournaments. The biggest of them all - Spanish Copa del Rey - will gather fans from across the country in Badalona.

Ahead of the mini-tournament, the Top 8 bracket got drawn.

The tournament will start on February 16th. In the first match of the day, Real Madrid will battle against Valencia Basket. Later on in the evening, FC Barcelona will compete against Unicaja Malaga.

Interestingly, since both Real Madrid and Barca are on the same side of the bracket, the two Spanish basketball giants will not meet in the final as is customary. If both teams win their matchups in the quarterfinals, El Clasico will be played in the semifinal round.

In the third pair of quarterfinal matches, Lenovo Tenerife will play against Gran Canaria on February 17th. To finish off the round, Cazoo Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz will compete against Joventut Badalona.

The semifinal round will be played on February 18th while the Copa del Rey final will draw crowds on Sunday at 19:00 CET.
