Zalgiris Kaunas confidently defeated BC Wolves for the second time in a row (91-72), reaching the Final Four of the King Mindaugas Cup (KMT), but the joy of fans attending the contest held at the Zalgirio Arena was mixed with anxiety.

A little less than two minutes before the end of the match, Isaiah Taylor was about dribble past Wolves' Eric Bucker, but stumbled and then fell to the floor with his face loaded with pain.

The 28-year-old American guard grabbed his right thigh and reached the bench with the help of his teammates.

However, he did not stay on the bench either, because the team doctor instructed the player to go to the locker room. Taylor, limping hard, walked towards the exit door.

Taylor, who started his maiden EuroLeague season with Anadolu Efes Istanbul, joined the Lithuanian powerhouse two weeks ago to replace Keenan Evans. The 28-year-old former NBA guard will undergo medical exams that will determine his time of absence.

He tallied 14 points on 4/6 FGs, one rebound, and 6 assists vs. Wolves.

"The match turned sour because of Taylor's injury," Kazys Maksvytis said in the post-game conference.

"He was smiling in the dressing room, but maybe out of stress or shock. All medical tests will be done tomorrow morning. The doctors will have to find out if it's just a spasm or something more serious."
