Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting that EA7 Emporio Armani Milan are about to finalize a deal with 12-season NBA veteran Kemba Walker.

The contract will be finalized only after the results of the medical tests.

Walker, 32, had a nine-game stint with the Dallas Mavericks this season, averaging 8.0 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 2.1 assists on 42.1% shooting.

Four-time NBA All-Star (2017–20) has career averages of 19.3 points, 5.3 assists, and 3.8 rebounds in 750 games (697 starts) with Charlotte (2011-19), Boston (2019-21), New York (2021-22), and Dallas (2022-23).

Drafted No. 9 overall by then-named Charlotte Bobcats in 2011, Walker had an injury-riddled last three seasons after playing all 82 regular-season games in 2018-19.

The 1.83-meter point guard was born in the Bronx and played his high school ball for Rice in Manhattan before starring at UConn in college.

It would be Walker's first time playing in Europe (Italy) and overseas, in general.

Meanwhile, Milan lacks their main point guard Kevin Pangos, who has been sidelined with a knee injury since November 24. Ettore Mesina yesterday said the Canadian player won't be available until the end of February at least.

Milan is 17th in the EuroLeague standings and dropped to 6-13 following its third straight defeat on Friday night.
