After coming back from an ACL tear he suffered more than a year ago, Bender has been one of the best players in the ACB. So far this season, he's been averaging 17.7 points and 6.7 rebounds for 19 PIR while shooting three-pointers at a solid 47.1%.
"I totally expected it to go this way, I know how much work I put in the last year when I was injured, I was definitely eager to get back and play basketball again," Bender told in an interview with Moses Barda of One.co.il.
"It's been great so far for me and I'm looking forward to it continuing like this," he said.
