Head coach Sarunas Jasikevicius says he prefers winning the games defensively instead of being involved in high-scoring battles.
FC Barcelona defeated Cazoo Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz in a high-scoring game in the EuroLeague last evening. Even though his team got the victory, head coach Sarunas Jasikevicius was not happy with how the match went.

"I thought we played really good defense in the fourth quarter. We dug a little bit deeper and got some stops. Every coach would like to win the game from the defensive perspective," Saras stated in the press conference.
"The boys watched the Madrid-Partizan game yesterday and got affected by it a bit too much," Jasikevicius joked. "Surely, people had a great time but not me until the end. The truth is that everything we have prepared did not work. In the end, they missed some shots. It's a joy for the coach to win defensively."
Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade and Real Madrid set a new EuroLeague record on Thursday. The two teams scored 72 points in the first quarter (40-32) setting a new record for the highest-scoring first quarter in the competition's history.
In Friday's match between Barca and Baskonia, both teams scored 22+ points in the first three quarters. The fourth quarter was the lowest-scoring in the game with the away team recording only 11 points in the last 10 minutes.
