After yet another road loss against the New Orleans Pelicans, the Golden State Warriors put themselves in NBA record books, just not in the way they would probably want.

It was the fifth straight loss for the Warriors. Additionally, they started the season 0-6 on the road, becoming the first defending champions to do so.

"There are times in the NBA season when things can go off the rails a little bit," head coach Steve Kerr said after practice on Sunday. "A big part of being a great team, being a solid organization, is just understanding how to work through that."

Meanwhile, Klay Thompson has called it "a road trip from hell".

"We just need to bring more of a sense of urgency," the player told. "We had a long run last year but 2022 is over. It's time to kick into high gear and play that championship level of basketball that we're used to. I fully expect us to do that."

The Warriors return home on Monday to face off against the Sacramento Kings on a night when all 30 NBA teams will play on the same day for the first time ever.
