Charlotte Hornets head coach Steve Clifford revealed that he has called Nash to talk with him about the situation he's experienced recently, and

"I talked to him that night for a while, and I've invited him to come down here," Clifford revealed. "I'm going to try to get him to come down here and spend a couple of days with us and kind of watch and give me his thoughts on things here."

The Hornets coach continued to praise Nash during the press conference.

"Nobody handles issues better than he does," Clifford told. "We talked on the phone for a while, and 5 minutes into the conversation he's asking me about our injuries. That's how he is."

Clifford has previously defended Nash, claiming that the last season's Nets foes were not his fault.
