After a painstaking loss against France in EuroBasket 2022, the Turkish national team is looking to bounce back in the 2023 FIBA World Cup Qualifiers next week.

Head coach Ergin Ataman has announced a 16-man roster that will compete against Belgium and Serbia on November 11th and November 14th.

Six players from the two Turkish EuroLeague teams - Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul and Anadolu Efes Istanbul - were included in the roster. One of them is Scottie Wilbekin, who has a real shot of making the team after Shane Larkin, who would usually take the spot of the naturalized player in recent years, has been sidelined due to injury.

The roster will gather on November 5th to start the training camp. Whether the included EuroLeague players will arrive with the other 10 members this Saturday, hasn't been officially revealed.
