PAOK Thessaloniki swingman Zaccheus Darko-Kelly suffered a severe injury in the FIBA Basketball Champions League game.

Midway through the first quarter in a match against Unicaja Malaga, Darko-Kelly landed awkwardly while fighting for the defensive rebound, and sustained an apparent ankle fracture. He left a game on a stretcher.

The 25-year-old American was rushed to the hospital to undergo tests to determine the extent of the injury and how long he will be out.

The Montana product went undrafted in the 2021 NBA draft.

Darko-Kelly went overseas last year, signing with Riesen Ludwigsburg in Germany. PAOK is his third team in Europe.
