Victor Wembanyama leads French League with 22.2 EFF and 2.8 blocks per game.

Victor Wembanyama, the top NBA prospect in the 2023 class, leads French League in efficiency and blocks following his strong performance in Metropolitans 92 victory over JL Bourg last night, in a first-ever LNB Pro A game broadcasted by the NBA.

The 18-year-old had a stellar match with 23 points on 7/12 FG and 9/10 FT, 10 rebounds, 5 blocks, 2 assists, and 4 turnovers in 36 minutes. The French unicorn became the star of the match with his performance.

His LNB averages now mark 19.3 points (5th in the league), 8.3 rebounds (4th), 2.5 assists, 0.7 steals, 2.8 blocks (1st), and 22.2 EFF (1st) over six games.

In terms of efficiency, Wembanyama is ahead of AS Monaco star Mike James, who collects 21.3 EFF on average.

Wembanyama's shooting percentages are 55.4% from the two-point zone, 32.0% from deep, and 71.4% from the charity stripe.

With a win over JL Bourg, Metropolitans snatched their 5th domestic win in a row (5-1).
