EuroLeague Round 7 match between EA7 Emporio Armani Milan and Virtus Segafredo Bologna has been moved from November 11th to November 9th due to 2023 FIBA World Cup Qualifiers window.
EuroLeague has announced a schedule change for Round 7 of the tournament as the battle between two Italian clubs EA7 Emporio Armani Milan and Virtus Segafredo Bologna has been moved.
Being previously scheduled to take place on November 11th, the game has been moved to November 9th. The start time doesn't change - it remains at 20:30 CET.
This comes as a measure for EuroLeague matches not to interfere with 2023 FIBA World Cup Qualifiers window. With Sergio Scariolo being both Virtus and the Spanish national team's head coach, he would otherwise have to choose which roster to coach.
The two teams have enjoyed different starts to the 2022-23 EuroLeague season so far. Milan's team has lost only once in the first four games. Meanwhile, Scariolo's men have only one victory in their account so far.
Scariolo's Spain (5-1) play against Italy (5-1) on November 11th in the Qualifiers window. Next week, both Italian teams similarly play against two Spanish teams as Virtus will battle against Real Madrid and Milan will face FC Barcelona.
