Dallas Mavericks owner Marc Cuban is planning to organize a preseason matchup with Real Madrid. Logistics is currently the main obstacle.
With Luka Doncic being the superstar of the team, the Dallas Mavericks are planning to reunite the Slovenian wunderkind with his former team.

The NBA club is looking into ways of organizing a preseason exhibition match against Real Madrid next season, the team's owner Marc Cuban said.
"I don't know that we'll be able to play a preseason game in Slovenia but we're working really hard to play one against Real Madrid," he told yesterday.
The famous owner has long envisioned this happening but the coronavirus pandemic stopped the initial plans, The Dallas Morning News report.
"It depends on the league, so we’ll see," Cuban said about the plan, "but we’re certainly working on it."
While with Real Madrid, Doncic has played in a similar type of game before. In 2016, then-17-year-old Luka competed against Russell Westbrook, Domantas Sabonis, and the Oklahoma City Thunder in a preseason match.
In a surprising outcome, Real Madrid beat the Thunder 142-137 back then. Doncic contributed with 3 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists off the bench.
