Free agent Blake Griffin has agreed to a one-year, fully guaranteed deal with the Boston Celtics, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

The 33-year-old big man will provide Boston with some depth in the frontcourt line after Danilo Gallinari and Robert Williams III sustained injuries.

Griffin represented the Brooklyn Nets last season. He appeared in 56 games and registered 6.4 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 1.9 assists.

Throughout 724 career games with the Los Angeles Clippers (2010-18), Detroit Pistons (2018-21), and Nets (2021-22), Griffin has averaged 19.8 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 4.1 assists and made six All-Star teams.

The Clippers originally selected Griffin No. 1 overall in 2009.
