Free agent Svi Mykhailiuk has agreed to a partially guaranteed one-year deal with the New York Knicks, his agency told Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Toronto Raptors waived Mykhailiuk at the end of August.

The Ukrainian swingman averaged 4.6 points and 1.6 rebounds in 56 appearances for the Canadian club last season.

Mykhailiuk, 25, was the No. 47 overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, and has often served as a capable fill-in as a shooter for the Raptors. He has also spent time with the Los Angeles Lakers, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Detroit Pistons.

He has NBA career averages of 6.6 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.4 assists over 220 matches.

Mykhailiuk is coming off a successful FIBA EuroBasket 2022 where he registered 17.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 15.5 EFF, and navigated Ukraine to the Round of 16.
