According to the official announcement by the club, the forward underwent clinical tests and instrumental investigations that revealed an osteochondral lesion. The ACL was not involved in a serious way, the report reads.
Abass will undergo arthroscopy in the coming days that will reveal the full and definitive diagnosis and projected recovery time.
The player suffered an ACL tear last September which sidelined Abass for the entire season.
Throughout his EuroCup career, Abass has averaged 7.4 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 1 assist for 7.5 PIR.
