The Greek basketball superstar, Giannis Antetokounmpo is set to return to action, despite back and knee soreness.

MRI that Antetokounmpo underwent did not show any acute damage. The player continues his rehabilitation following an individualized program, per Greek Basketball Federation's report.

The Greek Freak missed the previous two preparation games in the Acropolis tournament due to back soreness. The Milwaukee Bucks' leader is expected to play in the next 2023 FIBA World Cup European Qualifiers Group I, where Greece will face Serbia next on August 25.

In the 2022 EuroBasket, Greece will play in Group C starting September 2, which will take place in Milan, where they will face Croatia, Italy, Great Britain, Ukraine, and Estonia.
