The staff of the national team decided to protect the Greek Freak in order to be ready for the next games, via the report.

Shortly after, the Greek Basketball Federation confirmed the information, stating the "precautionary reasons".

Greece will play Spain for the second time in three nights. The match will take place at the sold-out WiZink Center, Madrid (19:30 CEST).

Giannis Antetokounmpo dominated in the first preparation cycle game versus Spain and improved his personal scoring record with the Greek national team.
