Kevin Durant's and the Brooklyn Nets saga continues as the Nets try to deal the superstar before the 2022-23 season as he has requested.

Durant delivered an ultimatum to the team owner Joe Tsai that it's either him or general manager Sean Marks and head coach Steve Nash, and by the looks of Tsai's latest comments, he chose Marks and Nash.

It appears that the 2-time NBA Finals MVP has a clear preferred destination where he would like to play next.

12-time All-Star Durant wants to play with Defensive Player of the Year Marcus Smart and the Boston Celtics, Per Ian Begley of SNY.

"Durant sees Boston as a desired landing spot, per people familiar with the matter. Durant also would like to play with Boston's Marcus Smart if he is traded to the Celtics, per people familiar with the matter," said Begley.

However, The Athletic had previously reported that the Nets wanted Smart included in a package from the Celtics in any Durant trade.

The Nets goal is to have a competetive even after trading Durant, as they will still have Kyrie Irving and Ben Simmons on the roster and solid role players in addition.

Durant last season averaged 29.9 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 6.4 assists in 55 regular-season games, but the Nets were swept by the Celtics in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
