Cook is competing for a third-point guard spot in Sacramento.
The two-time NBA champion split time between Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar and the G League Stockton Kings last season.
The 29-year-old Cook averaged 5.3 points and 1.3 assists throughout three EuroCup games last campaign and posted 23.5 points, 5.9 assists, and 4.9 rebounds in G League.
He last played in the NBA for the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2020-21 season.
In total, Cook represented five NBA teams since joining the league in 2016. He has been a member of the Dallas Mavericks, New Orleans Pelicans, Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers, and the aforementioned Cavs.
