The coach of the Serbian national team, Svetislav Pesic, has decided to cut captain Milos Teodosic from the team before the upcoming matches with Greece and Turkey in the qualifiers for World Cup, according to Dorde Matic of the Mozzartsport.

Position: PG
Age: 35
Height: 195 cm
Weight: 87 kg
Birth place: Valjevo, Serbia

The surprising and strange decision to thank the most experienced member of the Serbian national team at this stage of the preparations came on Monday. Teodosic has been with the national team for over 15 years already.

This is the first time that Milos Teodosic has been crossed off the national team list. He did not play at the EuroBasket in 2017 and earlier in 2013 due to injuries, as well as the World Cup in China in 2019.

Teodosic was one of the most important factors in Madrid's silver campaigns at the 2014 World Cup and the Rio Olympics two years later. He made his debut for Serbia at the EuroBasket in 2007.
