Back-to-back EuroLeague Final Four MVP, Vasilije Micic, will play next season for Anadolu Efes Istanbul, his agent Misko Raznatovic announced on Twitter.
July 20 was the last day of his NBA buyout deadline.
As reported earlier, the San Antonio Spurs, Milwaukee Bucks, and Chicago Bulls were named as legitimate suitors for Micic.
The Serbian guard was selected with the 52nd overall pick by the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2014 NBA Draft, but his rights were traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2020.
Micic didn't want to commit to a franchise, which is facing a massive rebuild process.
The 28-year-old averaged 18.2 points, 4.6 assists, 2.7 rebounds, and 17.5 PIR in the EuroLeague last season.
The star guard was the top scorer in the tournament and won the Alphonso Ford Award. Moreover, he racked the EuroLeague Final Four MVP honors for a second straight year.
Micic recorded 19.0 points, 5.5 assists, 4.0 rebounds, and 17.0 PIR in a two-game span as Anadolu Efes became the back-to-back champions of the EuroLeague.
