Olympiacos Piraeus have parted ways with one of their role players.
According to the club's official statement, the team has decided to not renew the contract with its forward Livio Jean-Charles.
"Thank you for your loyalty, hard work, and dedication to the Olympiacos organization! Wishing you all the best in your future endeavor," the club wrote in the official announcement.
As previously reported by Donatas Urbonas from BasketNews, Jean-Charles is set to suit up for LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne.
Previously, the 2.06-meter French player has played four times for ASVEL - from 2011 to 2016, at the end of the 2016-17 season, and from 2018 to 2020.
Jean-Charles averaged 3.8 points (2FG: 61.5%; 3FG: 31.2%) and 2.2 rebounds in 11 minutes in the EuroLeague last season.
