Swiss-born wing Anthony Polite has reached an agreement with ASVEL Villeurbanne, per BasketNews sources.
A 25-year-old will join the French champions on a two-year deal, sources told BasketNews.
There's an NBA exit clause included in his contract. He will suit up for the San Antonio Spurs in the Las Vegas summer league.
Polite went undrafted in the 2022 NBA draft. Previously he spent five years with the Florida State.
1.98 m Polite can play multiple positions. Last NCAA season, he posted 9.9 points (3FG: 32.1%), 5.6 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.5 steals on average.
Polite was born in Lugano, Switzerland, where his father played basketball professionally.
Anthony has represented Switzerland at FIBA Europe youth competitions.
For instance, in the 2013 FIBA U16 European championship division B, Polite averaged 18.4 points and 12.2 rebounds.
