The Grizzlies officially announced that the 22-year-old underwent surgery to repair a stress fracture in his right foot.
Jackson Jr. previously suffered a torn meniscus injury in August 2020 and didn't make a return up until April 2021.
Last season, the 22-year-old averaged 16.3 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 1.1 assists in 78 regular-season games.
