Ahead of Game 1 of the Spanish ACB finals featuring Real Madrid and FC Barcelona, Pablo Laso revealed that he joined the team in practices.

Less than a week after returning home, Laso has re-joined the team's practices, although he will not attend tonight's game in Barcelona.

"Hello. Thank you for the thousands of messages you have sent me. Impossible to answer all of you, millions of thanks. I am very well, already training, although today I will not be present at the Palau Blaugrana," the Basque coach wrote on Twitter.

Madrid's assistant coach Chus Mateo also spoke about a possible Laso's return to his head coaching duties.

Laso being in good health "is the most important thing," Chus Mateo said previewing the game.

"I wouldn't be able to tell you for sure if I'll be coaching through the entire series. Pablo is fine, regardless of whether or not he is for a game, he will continue being with us," Mateo said.

Pablo Laso was discharged from the hospital last Tuesday (June 7) after suffering a myocardial infarction two days earlier. Real Madrid's head coach spent the night at the hospital under observation.
