"Tomorrow the battle of the finals begins and we are excited, but also 100% focused on our big goal - to win the Greek championship! The fact that the first game is at our arena is very important.

We fought hard all year long for the home court advantage and we do not want to spoil it in the first game. It is obvious that Panathinaikos will be much better team than they were in the semifinals, so we must be very careful,“ he said.

The Olympiacos player thinks, that his team didn‘t underestimated any opponents during the Greek league‘s playoffs.

"We have not underestimated any of our opponents so far and, of course, we are not going to make such a mistake now that we are playing against a team not only with a big name and traditions, but also with a huge motivation to win the title.

But we also have a huge motivation to win a championship and I believe that with the help of our amazing fans we will be able to make it happen.

Our fans have supported us in a very unique way this season so far and I am sure they will do the same on Saturday. I have the feeling that they will fill the arena completely and will push us to the limits," Larentzakis continued.

The 29-year-old guard thinks that it is impossible to have some secrets between the teams who face each other so many times during the season.

"I do not think that after so many games in EuroLeague, domestic league and Cup there are secrets between these two teams. They know us and we know them well. Both coaches will put some small tricks in their game to surprise the opponent, but basically the victory will be judged on passion and competitiveness," he concluded.
