The situation didn't change much in the second half. Milan kept shooting effectively from three-point, while Sassari struggled to create easy shots. Coach Messina's side never looked back and advanced to an easy win and to the upcoming Serie A finals against rivals Virtus Bologna.

Sassari played a good first quarter but their offense lost all the rhythm in the second one, with Milan taking over the game defensively with great intensity. Coach Ettore Messina's side started to gain momentum in the second quarter, Datome and Baldasso hit from deep and at halftime Milan were leading by 13 points (47-34).
