The head coach of FC Barcelona, Sarunas Jasikevicius, had dinner with Tomas Satoransky in the capital of Catalonia and sparked the rumors about the player's return to Barca, after six years spent in the NBA.
Over the last month, the Czech Republic star was linked with Barcelona several times for the 2022-23 season.
In a recent interview, he said that playing with his countryman Jan Vesely in Barcelona would make him happy. As it was announced yesterday, Vesely is expected to sign a three-year deal with the Catalans.
Satoransky has already represented the Blaugranas jersey from 2014 to 2016.
The 30-year-old made 56 appearances in the EuroLeague under coach Xavi Pascual.
He averaged 9.0 points, 4.2 assists, and 2.8 rebounds in the 2015-16 season over 29 games.
Satoransky finished the 2021-22 NBA campaign with the Washington Wizards, posting 3.6 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 3.3 assists in a total of 55 duels with three teams: New Orleans Pelicans, San Antonio Spurs, and Wizards.
