The Partizan Belgrade head coach stated that such a classic matchup between the two Belgrade teams should be a constant in EuroLeague too.

"Years ago, I said that Zvezda and Partizan deserve a place in EuroLeague," Obradovic said. "I'm glad that others recognized that and thought the same. That would be a great thing for Belgrade and Serbia. The city has a lot to offer, and both teams have extraordinary fans."

"We hope, and we would like that, regardless of the result of this series, that both teams will be in the EuroLeague," Obradovic continued. "Hopefully, time will tell us the right answer."

Partizan Belgrade eliminated Buducnost in the semifinals of the ABA League, winning the series 2-1, while Crvena Zvezda got rid of Cedevita Olimpija with the same result.
