The contest was one-sided, as Baskonia were up by 13 points or more for the most part. 

The only point where Zaragoza threatened to come back was halfway through the third quarter. Thanks to a quick 0-7 run, the guests cut down the deficit to 13 (40-53). However, Baskonia soon picked up, responding with a resounding 18-7, closing the quarter with a 24-point lead (71-47).

Downhill didn't end there for Zaragoza, as the hosts kept firing on all cylinders. Zaragoza started the fourth quarter shooting 2/15 from the field. As a result, Neven Spahija's squad increased the margin to 34 (87-53). 

Simone Fontecchio led all scorers with 19 points, while big men Steven Enoch and Matt Costello added 15 apiece for Baskonia. 

Sean Kilpatrick was the only player from the losing side to register double digits in scoring (11).
