Pesic expressed his appreciation for Bayern, wishing them the best for this playoff series. The coach didn't hide the fact that he has a soft spot for the German club.

"If you ask me where my heart beats, I have to say that I have a little preference for Bayern", coach Pesic said. "I live in Munich, I'm a big fan of Bayern both in basketball and football".

The Serbian head coach believes that Bayern have a real chance of advancing to the Final Four in Belgrade.

"They're playing far better, they seem to understand each other better. They have reason to believe they could win also Game 3, but of course, it won't be easy", Pesic confessed. "Barcelona has a great potential, they're the favorite to win the EuroLeague but I really like Bayern's team".

Coach Pesic also shared his appreciation for Bayern Munich head coach Andrea Trinchieri, who led Bayer to the second playoffs appearance in a row.

"Coach Trinchieri is doing a great job. They play great team basketball, both offensively and defensively", Pesic said. "When I'm in Munich, we talk a lot with Andrea, basketball is always on our minds, he's a very interesting person. I'm older than Andrea so he respects my opinion, but I also have great respect for his work".

Of course, coach Pesic has a lot of interest in the performances of the Serbian players who wear the colors of Bayern Munich. He focused on Vladimir Lucic and Ognjen Jaramaz

"Lucic is the absolute leader of the team, if he plays well, the whole team is on another level", the Serbian NT head coach stated. "Jaramaz is a young player and this is his first time playing outside of Serbia. He's a great guy and a very talented player. He'll get better from game to game and from season to season. He's slowly growing into one of Bayern's key players".
