Going into Game 3 of the EuroLeague playoffs series against AX Armani Exchange Milan, Anadolu Efes Istanbul head coach Ergin Ataman was cautiously confident.

Ataman gave high praise to the opponents' head coach Ettore Messina.

"Although the Milan team has important players missing, Ettore Messina is a basketball genius," the Turkish coach explained. "Milan is the team with the lowest points allowed in the EuroLeague, we must play briskly with the right offensive choices to overcome their tough defense, and defend, and rebound in Italy."

"We have to control the rebounds as well," Ataman continued. "We have left our mark on European basketball in the last three years. We have achieved a great synergy in this hall, we have succeeded together, and we will succeed again."

"We will be the champions! There are only 4 games left to reach this success," Ataman concluded.

Game 3 of the series is scheduled to start today at 19:30 CET in Sinan Erdem Dome in Istanbul.
