After a 14-0 run at the start of the second quarter, ALBA were up by 20 points (40-20). However, Ulm responded with a 14-0 spurt on their own, cutting the deficit to 6 points (34-40). EuroCup's squad continued their successful play and had minus one (42-43), going into the break.
