Though, the game was characterized not only by its importance but also by emotions on the court.

One of Metropolitans' best players, Jordan McRae, had been ejected due to a couple of technical fouls in the third quarter.

The French team had 2 more technical fouls called early in the fourth quarter, one on head coach Vincent Collet and the other on Lahaou Konate.

McRae could not believe that he was awarded a tech foul for clapping with his hands.

"Come on man what's going on in the world today where you can't clap," the former NBAer wrote on his Twitter account.

Jordan McRae finished the game with 15 points (3/5 2PT, 3/6 3PT), 2 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 rebound, 1 turnover, and 9 PIR.

Boulogne Metropolitans 92 will meet Umana Reyer Venice in the EuroCup's eighthfinals. Frenchmen will have a home-court advantage.
