Bertomeu officially approached thirteen ECA shareholders on Monday, suggesting approving the Russian clubs' withdrawal and not listing them in the final EuroLeague standings.

According to BasketNews sources, the majority of ECA shareholders approved the decision.

EuroLeague officially confirmed the BasketNews report.

CSKA, Zenit, and Unics ranked in the Top 8 before the suspension. However, all the games that involved Russian teams were annulled.

That heavily impacted the playoff race. Eight teams are still competing for the Top 8. In the meantime, four clubs, FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, AX Armani Exchange Milan, and Olympiacos Piraeus, already secured their playoff berth.

Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar were also excluded from the EuroCup competition accordingly.
