LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne (12-6) returned to the French League with a 86-81 (20-16, 27-21, 21-23, 18-21) win over SIG Strasbourg (9-8) at the Astroballe.

Chris Jones scored a game-high 28 points on 10/17 field goals, while Paul Lacombe and Mat Strazel were also in double-digits for TJ Parker's side.

Elie Okobo (shoulder), William Howard (knee), Victor Wembanyama (shoulder), Raymar Morgan (back) and Antoine Diot remained out, and Kostas Antetokounmpo did not play, but David Lighty (hand) returned to action scoring four points in 19 minutes.

Kameron Taylor, out on loan to Strasbourg from Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv, registered a team-high 18 points for the Basketball Champions League outlet.
