The repeated COVID-19 test of Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul head coach Sasa Djordjevic was positive, according to the official report.
Yesterday the Serbian mastermind did not participate in Fener's match against Petkim Spor due to his illness. As a precautionary measure, Djordjevic returned to Istanbul because he felt symptoms despite the initial negative COVID-19 test.
Via the statement, Djordjevic's isolation and treatment processes have been started.
Fenerbahce will play over Buyukcekmece tomorrow in the local competition, while their next Turkish Airlines EuroLeague game is scheduled for Thursday versus Zalgiris Kaunas. Both duels will take place at Ulker Sports Arena, Istanbul.
Fenerbahce are lacking three important players, including Nando De Colo, Jan Vesely, and Marial Shayok, who are all injured.
Fenerbahce are sharing 9-10th places in the EuroLeague standings with 8 wins and 10 losses.
