FC Barcelona's swingman Alex Abrines tested positive for Covid, the club announced today.

Abrines has been out with a patellofemoral injury since September of 2021. He underwent surgery to address the issue and is without a timetable to return.
The 28-year-old did not appear on the floor in the EuroLeague this season. He averaged 6.1 points (42.3% 3PT), 1.8 rebounds, and 4.7 PIR last year in the strongest European competition.
Barcelona are leading the EuroLeague standing with 16 victories and 4 losses. They trail only to Real Madrid in the Spanish Liga ACB with 11 wins and 3 losses.
