On January 11, the club announced that Louis Labeyrie was diagnosed with coronavirus after pre-game tests of the 7DAYS EuroCup match against Ratiopharm Ulm. Now, the exact number of cases was not specified.

"After the detection of several more positive cases for Covid-19 in our Men's Team in the control made before the Endesa League Round 18 game against Barça, which was scheduled for tomorrow, Sunday, January 16 at 12:30 p.m. (local time), Valencia Basket has communicated the situation to the health authorities and sports institutions.

"It has been decided to postpone the game to a new date yet to be determined," the announcement reads.

It remains to be seen whether Valencia's next EuroCup game against Promitheas in Patras next Wednesday (January 19) will end up being suspended as well.
